Looking to keep racing during the off-season?  Check out the Ray's MTB Park cross-country time-trial series.  Competitors race against the clock o­n a closed course in the park.  The course is specifically designed to use the least difficult lines, so don't be scared!

With all the rain we've had, everyone really needs to stay off the the trails around Northeast Ohio this weekend.  But don't worry, this is a perfect weekend to go check out the Dirt Room at Ray's MTB Park.  Ray is currently offering FREE rental bikes, so you'll have the perfect bike to give it a try.  Don't be intimidated, intermediate level mountain bikers can easily handle the smaller jump line.  Go o­n out and give it a shot!  Visit www.raysmtb.com for hours & directions.  Admission is $12 for all day.

The newest edition to Ray's MTB, The Subaru Dirt room, opens Friday, May 29th. The new 6,000+ sq ft. room has something to offer for all skill levels. There are two separate sections with their own roll-ins offering multiple line options. Also, a patio for hanging out between runs, 12 all new GT Rental bikes, along with their existing Atomlab, SuperCo, and Brooklyn Machine works rentals.

Have you heard about the most recent plans for Ray's Indoor MTB Park?  Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, Ray and his crew have stepped it up o­nce again.  Plans include an 11,000 square foot expansion (for a total of 114,000!), a new jump room, a dedicated dirt jump room that opens in May, a major XC course expansion, and more.  Click here to read all about it.  Ray's is going to be so good, you're going to be begging for winter!  The park now opens at noon o­n weekdays and the season ends o­n Sunday, April 26th (but the dirt jump room opens in May and stays open till November).

I had a chance to visit Ray's Indoor Mountain Bike Park and see all the progress that's been made during the off-season.  I took some pictures and thought I'd tell you a little about what you can expect for the 2008-09 edition of the park.  Of course, you can also be among the first to experience all the new stuff the park has to offer by attending the CoolCleveland party at Ray's and the Free Preview Night for CAMBA Members.

If you haven't made it out to Ray's this year, this weekend is your final chance. He's closing the doors Sunday night.

Note: All rental bikes were sold at the season-end swap meet so you'll have to take your own bike.
