Where does my money go?

Trail building sessions: At many CAMBA trail building sessions, we provide lunch or a snack of some type. Since we do a lot of trail building in the winter, it’s important that we have funds available to purchase food and snacks for these events and a portion of your donation helps pay for this.

Trail building tools: Trail building tools cost approximately $40 each for a Pulaski or McLeod plus additional tools such as chain saws and weed whackers. Your donation helps us purchase these tools and make trail building sessions more productive.

Advocacy expenses: Working with local land managers is a big part of what CAMBA does. There are costs associated with advocacy such as mailing expenses, IMBA membership fees, and printing costs. A portion of your CAMBA dues help us with our advocacy efforts.

Web site costs: Our website is our primary means of communication to CAMBA members. CAMBA must pay a monthly fee to keep this site running and a portion of your donation goes toward that fee.

Advertising costs: the more people that join CAMBA and volunteer their time, the more legal trails there are for Northeast Ohio mountain bikers. Your donation helps us reach as many mountain bikers as possible.

Special events: CAMBA hosts occasional group meetings and other events. These events require funds to cover miscellaneous costs. A portion of your donation helps to cover these costs.

Club Insurance: As an IMBA affiliated club, CAMBA is required to carry liability insurance to protect the organization and its officers. Part of your membership fee goes towards this club insurance.

Does CAMBA publish an annual report?
